Kat is a 14-week old tabby and white domestic shorthair neutered female kitten.
Kat came into the rescue with her 6 brothers and sisters in a rather sorry state: they were riddled with fleas, worms and mites, leaving them close to death’s door. Thankfully with a lot of TLC foster-care and veterinary treatment they have made a full recovery.
Kat was one of the weakest kittens when she arrived: she required a lot of monitoring as the fleas had even burrowed in to her vagina and anus to get better access to blood. As you can imagine these areas required regular bathing until healed and this was extremely sore. Unfortunately, this has made Kat a little aloof when it comes to cuddles, but she has started to rub herself around your legs and she loves her food and a good play so with a bit of one-to-one I can’t see it being too long until she comes out of her shell.
Kat is used to dogs and is very respectful of older cats, but as she is on the shyer side we would recommend a home without young children. Kat likes the company of other cats, so if you do not have an existing cat in the house we would recommend her to go with one of her more outgoing siblings such as Jay or Jack.
Kat is fully vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped, up to date with all flea treatment and wormer and comes with 5 weeks free insurance. If you feel you could offer Kat a home either call 02380 893188 or e-mail [email protected]
